Folklife Summer Workshops @ St. Mary's College of Maryland

Celebrate and explore the culture and traditions of Southern Maryland at the Folklife Center Summer Workshops.

Whether you've always wanted to learn how to make stuffed ham or create your own quilt, or perhaps you'd like to get moving with a dance class, there is a workshop for you! You'll also get the chance to explore a gallery exhibition highlighting the customs that were shared over the weekend. And to wrap up a weekend of curiosity and connection, you'll hear an insightful talk from Dr. Joan Gaither, a Baltimorean who uses art to document the contributions of African Americans in the history and culture of Maryland and the story of America.
