The Governor’s Cup Yacht Race is back in 2024 for the 51st running of the Chesapeake Bay’s oldest and most storied overnight race. Sailors can join on one of four legs (Annapolis, Solomons, Potomac and Southern; details here).
Racers and non-racers alike are welcome to join in the festivities at the finish at the St. Mary’s College of Maryland waterfront on Saturday, August 3. Free music, fun and games plus some of Southern Maryland’s favorite food trucks and vendors, as well as a cash bar.
