Spend some time at the yearly Maryland Day festival on the beautiful Potomac River. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be free museum entry, water taxi rides from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., food trucks, special exhibits, and a public ceremony with officials from across the state. On the island, there will also be a public Mass at 11 a.m. to commemorate the first Mass celebrated in the English-speaking New World.
