Open House @ Drayden African American Schoolhouse

Invite your family and friends who enjoy history to the Drayden African American Schoolhouse. Volunteers will be on hand to tell historical tales about the schoolhouse during the open house. Built in 1890, the schoolhouse is stationary and still in its original site, making it one of the best-preserved African-American schools in the nation.

2023 Open House Dates: Apr 1, May 6, Jun 3 [Jun 17, 18, & 19 - special hours for Juneteenth Weekend], Jul 1, Aug 5, Sep 2, and Oct 7.
