US Oyster Festival Vendor Application

Calling all Artisans, Vendors, Food Trucks, Businesses, Service Providers & Community Organizations:
Participate in Southern Maryland’s Annual Celebration of Oysters!

The 2023 US Oyster Festival

Saturday, October 21st - 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday, October 22nd - 11 am - 6 pm
St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds

The US Oyster Festival, now in its 57th year, draws crowds of almost 10,000 people from far and near for two full days of food, fun, and celebration of Chesapeake Bay heritage and America’s oyster culture, culminating in the crowning of the US Oyster Shucking Champion. Managed and organized by The Rotary Club of Lexington Park to raise money in support of our local community, The US Oyster Festival offers artisans, vendors, food trucks, businesses, and community organizations an opportunity to showcase their distinct offerings or services, sell their unique goods from food to handicrafts, recruit members, and best of all, make some money.

Booth Fees

-Community Organization without sales: My designated nonprofit organization will represent our services without selling anything at the festival (FREE, limited to one booth space)
-Community Organization with sales:
My designated nonprofit organization will represent our services and we will sell something at the festival ($25)
I will be selling a book or books that I wrote or represent ($75)
-Artisan Vendor:
I will be selling items made by hand by me ($125)
-Direct Sales Company Vendor:
I operate a home-based direct sales business similar to Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Thirty-One Gifts, and others ($150)
-Commercial Exhibitor:
I represent a national corporation or franchise ($850)
-Local Exhibitor:
I represent a small local business with fewer than 12 employees and no more than 2 locations ($250)
-Food Vendor:
I am a licensed food vendor in good standing with the State of Maryland (Fee varies)

How to Apply to be a Vendor/Exhibitor at the 2023 US Oyster Festival

1. Submit the electronic application below by Thursday, August 31st, 2023.

2. Selected vendors and exhibitors will be notified of their acceptance into the festival and receive their registration package by email on or before Friday, Sept. 15th, 2023.

3. Vendor and exhibitor booths are not secured until registration forms are returned and payment in full is processed. Late payments could result in loss of your booth space.
