National Lighthouse Weekend @ Piney Point Lighthouse Museum

Head to Piney Point Lighthouse Museum for a free celebration of National Lighthouse Weekend. Tour the lighthouse tower and get a glimpse inside the keeper's quarters. Learn all about Lightkeeper Yeatman and his wife who kept the lighthouse operating for years. Round out your visit with a trip inside the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit, which houses real boats that once traversed the waters surrounding the museum and beyond.
The Lighthouse Museum and Historic Park will be open August 3rd and 4th from 10am to 5pm.
