Between the creativity of the filmmakers, uniqueness of the films, and diversity in the stories, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
The Southern Maryland Film Festival was created in 2015 to showcase the films and filmmakers from the Southern Maryland region. The Southern Maryland Film Festival accepts submissions in all genres and ages with a focus on films created in Southern Maryland or by Southern Maryland Filmmakers. Southern Maryland here is defined as Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties.
Tickets are available in "blocks" and can be purchased directly through the R/C Theaters website. Many of the filmmakers will be in attendance, and available to answer questions at the end of each block.
