Marinas

Sail power or engine power, whatever floats your boat.

Our marinas are located along both our Patuxent and Potomac River shorelines and at the tip of the peninsula.

Did You Know?

  • The Patuxent River is the longest river to be located entirely within the state. It flows from north central Maryland for 52 miles before opening into the Chesapeake Bay.
  • Native Americans lived along the Patuxent since 6,500 B.C. Its name first appeared on a map based on by Captain John Smith’s 1608 expedition.
  • The river’s deepest point is under the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge which spans St. Mary’s and Calvert Counties. There, the river reaches 130 feet below sea level. Its depth is one of the factors that attracted the U.S. Navy to the area.
