Choose to cruise from Pier 450 and cruise “down county”, exploring the beautiful waters of the Potomac River and the St. Mary's River, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise from Leonardtown Wharf, take a cruise down St. Jerome Creek to the Chesapeake Bay and enjoy the beautiful views of Point No Point Lighthouse and Point Lookout or come aboard for a special afternoon cruise for all ages down Breton Bay to St. Clement's Island where you disembark to explore Maryland's first landing.

Sunset Cruise at Pier 450

Join Captain Phil as he cruises “down county”, exploring the Potomac River and the St. Mary's River. Experience St. Mary’s County from the water with memorable views of Historic St. Mary's City, the Dove, and our beautiful rural landscape aboard the Lisa S., a 48-foot vintage Chesapeake Bay charter boat. Enjoy favorite snacks, drinks, and adult beverages aboard, Pier450 has you covered with lots of options to purchase. Grab carryout (including bottled wine and beer) to take with you on the cruise.

This BYOB small group cruise departs from the pier at Pier 450. Arrive early to feast on POV's light fare menu and drinks served until 9 pm on Fridays; brunch is served until 3:45 with lite fare until 8 pm on Sundays. Restaurant reservations are strongly encouraged if you plan to stay for a seated dinner after the cruise, or you are welcome to continue to enjoy their lite fare menu and drinks at the bar or outside on the beach.

And, as an added bonus, plan to stay the night at the Quarters at Pier 450 in one of their eight boutique rooms. Your ticket will include a discount code for the night of your cruise. Please make your room reservation separately, and soon, as space is limited.

Sunset Cruise at Leonardtown Wharf

Come along with Captain Phil for a two-hour cruise from Leonardtown Wharf. This BYOB small group cruise will toast to the spectacular sunset (mother nature willing!) and will give guests a chance to relax and unwind along the serene waterways of St. Mary’s County.

Depart from the Leonardtown Wharf Park and board the Lisa S, a 48-foot vintage Chesapeake Bay charter boat with Captain Phil. Bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and adult beverages aboard to enjoy as you cruise down Breton Bay on your way to the Potomac River.

Sunset Cruise at St. Jerome Creek

This 2-hour sunset cruise starts at the bucolic homestead of Fish the Bay Charters on St. Jerome Creek. Learn about oyster farming and the history of watermen as you pass a local aquaculture site. Then cruise out of the creek and into the Chesapeake Bay, where you're sure to spot blue herons and other waterfowl as you make your way to St. Mary's most iconic water attraction, Point No Point Lighthouse.

This BYOB small group cruise will give guests a chance to relax and unwind along the serene waterways of St. Mary’s County. Enjoy beautiful views of Point Lookout, the very tip of our Southern Maryland paradise, before heading back to shore immersed in a beautiful sunset on the water.

Afternoon Cruise at Leonardtown Wharf

This three-hour experience begins with an hour boat trip down Breton Bay to St. Clements Island where passengers will disembark and spend an hour exploring this historic island where English settlers first landed in what was to become Maryland.

On the water, you'll get a new perspective on the beautiful landscapes and farmlands of St. Mary's. On the Island, enjoy a picnic lunch, learn more about the Jesuits who settled Maryland, explore the beautiful wooded path around the island, or just spread out a blanket and soak up the sun until it's time to depart for the mainland. Share your island experiences and enjoy more of the natural landscape on the hour return to Leonardtown Wharf.

Guests of all ages are welcome and encouraged to bring food and beverages to enjoy on the boat or at the picnic tables on the island. Amenities are limited on the island.
