Anchored Roots Farm is a small, diversified specialty cut flower farm nestled in on the peninsula of St. Mary's County Maryland. We farm on the Patuxent River, just off the Chesapeake Bay, and therefore farm with the land and water in mind at all times. The farm was started with a mission to stay anchored to the roots of this land we love. From the water to the woods, Southern Maryland is our home, we were born and raised here, and we love it here. We grow a wide variety of fresh cut flowers that we sell direct to our customers.

Our current growing season is March through October. We are working on expanding our operation to have flowers during the late Fall and Winter months.

​Anchored to the roots of our community, we grow flowers for retail, events, and florists in Southern Maryland. We sell to florists by the bucket, run a small CSA flower subscription service from the farm, and sell weekly grab-n-go style flower bouquets to Chesapeake's Bounty in St. Leonard Spring through Fall. We partner to do fresh flower workshops with other small local businesses in the Spring, one of our favorite parts of this business.
