Blessing of the Fleet @ Leonardtown Wharf

The 58th Annual Blessing of the Fleet is a time-honored tradition celebrating the legacy and heritage of St. Mary's County Watermen and their service to our community. We have a blessing of the boats and the award for our Waterman of the Year. Held at Leonardtown Wharf, this FREE EVENT is a family-friendly community event featuring food and beverage, kid's activities and playground, boat rides, local crafters, dance troupes, three live bands and a HUGE fireworks display at 8 pm!

The Seventh District Optimist Club is a registered non-profit organization that supports the youth in our community through scholarships, sports, 4-H activities, charities, and other youth events. We also support law enforcement, first responders and community seniors. Through your support of our events, we raise money for these charities.
