St. Mary’s College of Maryland will host Five Note Theory, a five-part vocal jazz ensemble with fresh new takes on the jazz classics, at the Nancy R. and Norton T. Dodge Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. With Jormilit Garcia as the soprano, Marissa Zechinato as the alto, Leonard Brown Jr. as the tenor, Stephan M. Murphy as the baritone, and Asriel Davis as the bass and piano player, Five Note Theory has become one of the most exciting new jazz ensembles.
