Governor's Cup Yacht Race: Shoreside Activities @ St. Mary's College of Maryland

Experience the oldest and longest-running overnight sailboat race on the Chesapeake Bay! 

Whether you’re racing or just soaking up the shoreside fun, this unforgettable weekend is not to be missed. As the boats arrive throughout Saturday, enjoy live music, entertainment along the waterfront and food trucks from across Southern Maryland.

The College is pleased to provide a number of amenities for everyone attending Governor's Cup. Sailors, alumni and community members are welcome to enjoy the campus shuttle, live music, a cash bar, food trucks and transportation to and from the Green Door Tavern. 

Additional add-ons: 

• Waterfront Luau on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ($50/person advance rate | $60 walk-up rate) - Includes a Hawaiian-themed buffet featuring roasted whole pig, Huli Huli chicken, pork and chicken lau laus, blackened sea bass with pineapple salsa, island-inspired sides, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. Features a traditional lei greeting, live Hawaiian music, hula dancers and a Polynesian fire dance performance.
• Annapolis Shuttle on Saturday departing at 7:30 p.m. ($20/person advance rate | $25 walk-up rate) - One-way transportation from the St. Mary's City Post Office to Annapolis City Dock, departing at 7:30 p.m. following the Waterfront Luau.
