Attend the MIND BLOWN speaker series for an all-you-can-attend seminar experience at Pier450! Enjoy the informative seminars with light snacks and wine. Speaker Seminars for each date are held 3-4 p.m. with a following reception hosted 4-5 p.m.
On Feb 15, Peter LaPorte, the executive director of St. Mary’s County Historical Society, gives the seminar “Beyond the Fireworks: How St. Mary’s County Helped Build America”
On Feb 22, Jerry Gabriel, an award-winning podcaster and former St. Mary’s College of Maryland professor gives a Southern Maryland-Focused Podcast seminar.
On Mar 1, Angela Edwards, a poet, author, and storyteller, reads from her book “Little Italy Diary”, inspired by her father’s life in New York City’s Little Italy Neighborhood, and shares excerpts from her poems in “Tribute”, reflecting on her own life in southern Maryland.
The seminar on Mar 8 is to be determined.

On Mar 22, Karen Anderson, a professor of English & Directors, gives her VOICES reading series.
On Mar 29, Gerrey Dennie, an associate professor of history and an African diaspora studies chair, gives a seminar.
