Quarterly Lodging Partners Meeting @ avid Hotel

Calling all lodging partners in St. Mary’s County – the spring Lodging Partners Meeting is scheduled for March 17 from 9:30-10:30am at the new avid hotel.

Who should attend:

• Hotel and short-term rental owners/operators, sales directors, general managers, and frontline staff.
• If you own or manage a short-term rental in St. Mary’s County, we especially encourage you to attend. Your properties are an important part of our visitor economy, and the meetings are a chance to connect with other lodging partners, hear how VSMMD is marketing the destination, and learn how we can work together to bring more overnight visitors to the county.

Why does it matter:

• In 2024, St. Mary’s County welcomed nearly a million visitors, with over 350,000 staying overnight. Those overnight stays make a real difference for our local economy, supporting jobs, generating accommodation tax revenue, and increasing spending at restaurants, shops, attractions, and small businesses throughout the region.
