RenFeast: Renaissance-Inspired Chef's Tasting Dinner & Live Performance @ Pier450

Join RenFest Southern Maryland for a sneak preview event at Pier450 Restaurant, Boutique Motel & Shop on Sunday, May 3. This will be a three-course meal and a chance to see Robin Hood, Prince John, and some of the wacky cast of characters in action. With performances from Maul Dire Entertainment, LLC and The Nightingales, and a chance to take photos with royalty and peasantry alike, this event is not to be missed! Come in your RenFest finery to complete the evening.

FIRST COURSE:
Pottage of Leeks & Almond Milk
Silky leek soup simmered in housemade almond milk, finished with verjuice and ground ginger. Served with a trencher of toasted sourdough
SECOND COURSE:
Spit-Roasted Chicken
Half-roasted chicken based in herb butter, served over barley pilaf with cameline sauce — cinnamon, ginger, vinegar & toasted breadcrumbs
THIRD COURSE:
Daryoles with Saffron Custard
Individual pastry shells filled with a delicate saffron-and-honey custard gently spiced with mace (nutmeg seed aril) and rosewater
