Summer Solstice @ Piney Point Lighthouse Museum & Historic Park

The summer solstice means the sun will be at its highest point in the sky, providing us with more light than any other day of the year.
Come enjoy the additional daylight with after-hour tours of the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum & Historic Park. Visitors may tour our exhibitions in the Main Museum and join our staff while visiting our historic structures, the 1836 lighthouse tower and Keeper’s Quarters, as well as the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit.

The museum store will be available for purchases that go to support the Friends of the St. Clement’s Island and Piney Point Lighthouse Museums.
Regular admission rates apply and the last tour to the lighthouse tower, Keeper’s Quarters, and the Potomac River Maritime Exhibit will be at 7:15 pm.

Admission is $7 for adults; $3.50 for children (6-18); seniors and military; 5 and under are free.
