Join Chet’la Sebree, the author of Blue Opening; Field Study, for a Voices Reading on April 23, 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Daugherty-Palmer Commons. Her work has been featured in Guernicia, Lit Hub, The New Republic, Pleiades, Poetry International and The Yale Review. Chet’la Sebree is an assistant professor at George Washington University and faculty in Randolph College’s Low-Residency MFA in Creative writing program. She is the winner of the 2020 James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets, and her work Mistress was nominated for an NAACP image award.
