This Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, 24 & 25, 2026, the St. Mary’s County Museum Division is offering special cruises to St. Clement’s Island State Park on North Star Charters while awaiting final certification from the U.S. Coast Guard of the newly acquired water taxi to enter daily operations.
The ticket price is $7 per person, for all ages, and includes a free tour of the Blackistone Lighthouse (Saturday and Sunday only) and two-way boat ride to and from the island. First cruise leaves from the mainland at 10:00 a.m. and the final cruise will leave from the mainland at 2:00 p.m. (final cruise back to the mainland from the island is 3:00 p.m.)
