Bluefish have taken over the bay from Hooper's Island Light to Smith Point.  The blues have been breaking in schools of peanut bunker constantly for the week.  The further south the bigger the blues, but most are good size everywhere.  Spoons and surgical hose type eels are the most popular lures for trollers.  Lure casters are using spoons, Gotchas, and most anything that moves and flashes.

Jiggers are still finding eager rockfish at the Solomons Bridge pilings.  Some savvy trollers have done well up the Patuxent on the shoreline using small bucktails.
