Join the Town of Leonardtown, Leonardtown Business Association and Visit St. Mary's MD as we come together to celebrate and remember Moll Dyer and other local legends.
Bundle up with neighbors, those you know, and those you've yet to meet, as we honor Leonardtown's most mysterious maven with a weekend filled with mystical activities, spirited spirits, inspired crafts, live entertainment, and kindness.

Local Legend Scavenger Hunt
Put on your thinking cap and learn about local folklore withing St. Mary's County. You can pick up the activity sheet for this free, all-ages activity at Town Hall, the Old Jail Museum from 10 am to 5 pm. Collect the clues throughout Town and take your best guess. Everyone who plays qualifies for prizes donated by the local business community.
'Spirits for Spirits': Cocktail Contest (Starts February 13th!)
Raise a glass with Leonardtown’s finest mixologists as they show off their potent potables in the Spirits for Spirits Cocktail Contest. Starting on February 13th, and throughout Moll Dyer Weekend, stop in at participating bars and restaurants to taste these original creations, including cocktails and mocktails.

Convene with the spirit world by joining renowned author and paranormal expert Patrick Burke for a Paranormal Investigation. This unique walking tour is a rare opportunity to encounter Moll Dyer and other spirit residents of Leonardtown while learning the art and science behind paranormal investigations. After a brief overview of the specialized equipment, participants will visit The Inn at Leonardtown, The Vault and The Old Bell Building to try and discover which spirits are hanging around. The evening ends with a presentation of evidence collected during other investigations and the fascinating historical connections.
