The St. Mary's County Tourism Ambassador Program is meant to educate, inspire and empower community anchors, and build strong partnerships with the diverse attractions, restaurants, historically significant sites and lodging options available in the county.
The St. Mary's County Tourism Ambassador Program (SMCTAP) educates, inspires and empowers community anchors, and builds strong partnerships with the diverse attractions, restaurants, historically significant sites and lodging options available in St. Mary's County.
With your business’s involvement, you or your employee will become a St. Mary’s County expert and storyteller, empowering deeper connections with customers and visitors to your business. Participants will get direct experience in the area’s local attractions and activities, history, and hidden gems.
We are looking for candidates who love what Southern Maryland, want to become a “local” and offer insight to many new residents and visitors joining our community.
This incredible opportunity can help boost your career by learning how to create and promote authentic, welcoming experiences for your customers. You’ll work with a diverse cohort, made up of professionals across the tourism industry, and as a team, experience exciting and fun itineraries highlighting every crevasse of the county.
